Catching Up

It has been a bit of a whirlwind week. Grandma B is stable and on the mend. She is confused about where she is. We are hopeful this will pass when she is able to rest more without interruption. The ICU nursing staff at Memorial has been terrific. They are amazed by Grandma's recovery - so much of it in my opinion is due to the incredible care and grandma's strong spirit.

Meanwhile, we need to catch up on some things . . . We were able to visit baby Drew at home. Both Ella and Theo were excited to see their new cousin.

Ella started preschool in her new room - the Blue Room. She has 22 "friends" in her class (last year she had 12). She is going 3 days; 9-2pm. The Blue Room has a few more rules in effort to prepare the students for Kgarten. So far so good. I am enjoying the paintings she brings home daily!

And lastly, we had an apple pickin' party with friends and family. Our lively group enjoyed flashlight apple pickin'! We were able to pick before the monsoon rains hit the area . . . . I can't imagine what it must be like to live in the path of the hurricanes.
