On Wed, we left 7 inches of snow in chilly Belleville to head to 70 degree plus in central Florida. That was a no-brainer. Snow-covered roads slowed us down, but fortunately we made our flight in the nick of time.
After 5 warmer-than-home days in Florida, we reluctantly returned to the artic of the midwest (warning: a little exaggeration here). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Lary in Bonita Springs. (We were about 3 hours south of the Superbowl.)
Ella swam like a fish in the pool next to the condo and swam like a mermaid on the beach. We all struggled with colds a bit but we made the most of our time to relax, swim and enjoy some fantastic restaurants. Oh and I cannot forget our successful trips to the flea market in Bonita - the home of the sham-wow (or as Theo calls it, the wow-wow) and bargin purses. Fun, fun, fun.
After ditching our winter coats for a week, we find ourselves hoping the groundhog is wrong so spring can hurry up and get to Belleville!!
