The condo complex has a very nice pool. Ella spends most of her time trying to become a mermaid under the surface! Theo was more comfortable floating with swimmies than ever before. We have some very cute video of him discovering buoyancy and of Ella doing flips!
A little carousel ride on the "strip." In case you have ever been to the strip in Lake Ozark, it has not changed a bit since the 1970's! Skeeball, bumper cars and all.
Ella's greatest thrill - the purchase of a hermit crab in a purple shell. Her name is "Star" and she has received an abundance of attention from both kids. (I hope hermit crabs are hardy pets.)

Cousins Audrey and Drew joined us for the weekend. The kids (and adults) had a terrific time together!
We had some snacks and drinks at the Horny Toad Restaurant (he himself is in the background).
Theo loved to wear his jacket. Yea! That makes it so much easier to enjoy boating!!! We often asked Theo "Hey Theo, you want to go on Daddy's boat?" He shouted back "Yah!" In a matter of 6 days, we swear Theo picked up a ton more words and can even count. Crazy.

Ella loves Frankie and Louie's where you can turn yourself into a sand mermaid at the beach.
The family time was terrific, kids slept well, wine was good and company was great!! Now it is back to reality :) Aw, darn.

Reality always seems to be the bad part about a vacation. You always have to go home and get back to business.
