We had an action packed Easter. Bunny prints led Ella and Theo to their Easter baskets. All this excitement catapulted our whole house out of bed at 6am or so. Then we headed to church at 9am. By 10:45 we arrived at Grandma Jan and PaPa Ron's for a quick brunch and an egg hunt by name. Each child found 12 eggs with their name. Poor Audrey, she couldn't find all 12 of her eggs since Theo picked up 2 of her eggs by mistake. I guess it is bound to happen if you can't read yet!
We headed back home for a quick rest and by 2pm we were at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Lary's. It was a gorgeous day and we all got lots of fresh air. Judy sent the kids out on her annual egg scavenger hunt around the Millstadt farm. All 15 kids returned to a lawn full of more eggs!
Theo and Ella were on a full-speed collecting spree! At the end of the hunt, the kids shop with the money in their eggs at Grandma's store. Theo's strategy was to collect as much candy as possible with his money. Ella's strategy was to think over all her purchases and make sure she was getting great buys. That a girl!
Both came home with a basket of loot!
