Our good friend Jill traveled to Korea to pick up her son Max. One afternoon she was able to meet Theo and take him a few items from us. Sungyoon, a friend of Jill's, was able to translate a letter we wrote to Theo's foster mom. We thanked her for caring for Theo and told her how excited we are to be adopting him.
Jill said Theo has some stranger anxiety, so he was a little hesitant to let her hold him. Luckily they were still able to get some good photos. It is odd to look at these and think "she is holding our son!!" Jill and her friend Karen also have some great video of the meeting. The video is even stranger to watch.
Jill's daughter Julia is from the same orphanage as Ella. We travelled to China together to adopt the girls. Now, we will have sons from the same country and close to the same age. Max was born April 30 and Theo, July 1.

I feel very special to be able to hold Theo first. He is such a sweet baby and you are just going to love squeezing those cute cheeks..... Cant wait to read about your journey and to get a picture of the boys in their Illini gear!!!!!!!

So adorable. Can't wait till he comes home!!! What a special gift to have these photos. We would've given a million dollars to have that when we were waiting for our girls! Theo will be in your arms very soon!!!
