The summer is off to a busy start. Our new store (on our Belleville farm) opens on July 6th. We are down to the last week of prep and nerves and excitement are skyrocketing among us!!
Needless to say, it is headlining our summer. The kids enjoy going down each night to see the lifts and equipment inside the new store. Nightly, there are all kinds of treasures taken back to Theo's room . . . . misc wires (only safe ones!), punches from electrical boxes and pieces of wood etc. Ella is more about writing her name (and theo's) in the dust on random equipment inside the store! "THEO & ELLA" were here.
We are all anticipating the upcoming opening. In our free time, we have been chilling at home and preparing for Theo's 3rd Bday!!! Tomorrow is firehouse friend party day. Tonite this was our dialogue.
Theo: Mom, tomorrow . . . . can I be your superstar?
Me: Sure buddy! That would be great!
Theo: And mom, Thangs for my birthday party.
Me: Your welcome Theo. It is tomorrow buddy!
Theo: Oh, that's nice. And Mom, can we get my paci back sometime (puts hands together in a prayer motion.)
Me: Remember, we mailed them to baby Seneca this week for her birthday because you are such a big boy?
Theo: Yah, mom. Ok . . . . (lays down)
Me thinking, what a sweet boy . . . I hope I remember this conversation forever. :) Happy (almost) 3rd birthday. How did we get here so fast?
